My first year as a vExpert is coming to an end, and it’s time to reapply, hoping to continue holding the title for another year.
Before I do, I’d like to reflect on some of the benefits and experiences the vExpert program has given me over the past year.
Recognition with a Certificate & Badge
One of the first perks was receiving an official badge, perfect for adding to a website, email signature, or any platform where you want to showcase your vExpert achievement.
Joining the Community on Discord
I gained access to the exclusive vExpert channels on the Community Programs Discord. It’s been a great place to share insights, trade jokes, and keep up with the latest news in the community.
Broadcom Social Media Advocacy Platform
The Advocacy platform has been an invaluable resource, combining a wealth of content for easy sharing. It’s introduced me to countless blogs I might never have discovered on my own.
The Privilege of Being a vExpert
For me, the greatest benefit has been the honor of holding the title. I’ve been proud to be part of this vibrant and supportive program.

Conclusion
If you’re unsure about applying, go for it anyway! You might just get lucky and join us as a vExpert next year. Even if not, the feedback you receive could provide valuable tips and tricks for your future application. Last year, my colleague Maarten gave me the final push to take the leap, and I’m still grateful to him for that encouragement.
